The RCC library is in the process of acquiring a subscription to Fastcase which is useful for researching case law and identifying “bad” law.
Until that subscription becomes available, we recommend that you visit the online version of the Riverside County Law Library
During COVID-19, the county law library has made several databases such as Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, Fastcase, HeinOnline and others FREE for the general public to use remotely.
Many of these resources are for temporary use (e.g.,20 hours); however, there is a phone number listed under each database that can be used to extend access.
When the Riverside County Law Library re-opens for in person visits, then database access will revert to in-library use only.
